Looking back at my time at TAG, there is a lot I learned. Before this internship, I never had experience working at all, especially in an office setting. This internship taught me how to work in a professional setting, with young professionals who helped and guided me. Without their support, I would’ve been lost and not helpful. In the first week of my internship, I was assigned with one of my fellow interns, to work on a project that I would be presenting to the office on my last day. The project was to come up with a full marketing plan for a special project with Nickelodeon. the assignment tasked me and my partner to come up with multiple different ways to promote my event, which required a lot of research and conversations with different departments in the office. This project allowed me to have a conversation with almost every person in the office and helped me learn about each style of marketing (Public relations, radio barter, partnerships, promotions, advertising, graphic design). I believe this project was a steppingstone for my career, because it allowed me to get a taste of multiple career paths and find my passion. I realized throughout my time at TAG that I am interested in a future of marketing and graphic design. This prompted me to apply for fellowship in the Business School that focused on graphic design within marketing. Without TAG, I may not have found this passion, which may have changed my student/professional path. Below is my final project and I will forever be thankful to TAG for all that it has taught me and all the amazing relationships (and network) I got out of it!
